SPARTA — Cheryl L. (Breidel) Hoeth, 50, of Sparta died Saturday, Nov. 5, 2011, at Mayo Clinic Health System in Sparta. She was born on March 27, 1961, in La Crosse, Wis., to Arnold and Beverly (Brown) Breidel. She grew up in La Crosse and was baptized at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in La Crosse. She graduated from Central High School in 1979.
 
She married Jeffrey Hoeth on April 25, 1981, at the Cathedral of St. Joseph in La Crosse. They lived in La Crosse for a few years and moved to Sparta in 1984.
 
She worked at Piggly Wiggly, Sparta Veterinary Clinic and St. Mary’s Hospital in Sparta. She was also the Family Readiness coordinator for the 1158th Transportation out of Black River Falls.
 
She was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Sparta and had a passion for baking, enjoyed quilting, fishing and her dog, Sadie. She also enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandson, Samuel.
 
She is survived by her husband, Jeff of Sparta; her children, Andrea (Billy) Connelly of Sparta and Nicklaus (Amanda) Hoeth of Ettrick; grandson, Samuel Louis Hoeth; her parents, Arnold and Beverly Breidel of La Crosse;  sisters, Ruth Breidel of La Crosse and Patti (fiance Glen Griffith) Craig of Sparta; sister-in-law, Joanie (Marty) Fellenz of Onalaska; nieces and nephews, Amy and Austin Fellenz, Danielle (fiance, Andy Prell) Craig, Kristen (Tyler) Small and Kaylea Small; and many other relatives and special friends.
 
She was preceded in death by her in-laws, Milo and Rosie Hoeth; maternal and paternal grandparents; and many aunts and uncles.
 
A Mass of Christian burial will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Sparta, with the Rev. John S. Manohar officiating. Burial will be at 2:30 p.m. in Mormon Coulee Memorial Park, La Crosse.
 
Family and friends are invited to call at the Lanham-Miller Funeral Home, Sparta, on Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m., with a rosary at 8 p.m., and on Thursday at the church from 10 a.m. until time of services.  Online condolences may be offered at www.lanham-miller.com.
 
In Lieu of flowers, memorial are preferred.
 
The Lanham-Miller Funeral Home, Sparta, assisted the family with arrangements.
