Jane Marie (Bauer) Bymark, 53, of Hill City, MN, passed away Sunday, June 22, 2014 surround by family.

 

She was born January 20, 1961 in LaCrosse, WI to Merlin and Carolyn Bauer. She graduated from LaCrosse High School in LaCrosse, WI and graduated with a Masters Degree in Marketing and Business from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. She married Gary Bymark on June 4, 1988 in Washkish, MN. Jane and Gary owned several businesses together including the Sunset Lodge in Washkish, MN, the Bayside Marina on Pokegama Lake; and operated The Harbor. She taught part time at Itasca Community College for the College of St. Scholastica and was involved with the Itasca Economic Development Center. Jane was a member of the Centennial Rotary of Grand Rapids, Pokegama Lake Assoc., Grand Rapids and Hill City Chambers of Commerce. She enjoyed volunteering with various organizations.

Jane is survived by her husband, Gary Bymark of Hill City, MN; parents, Merlin and Carolyn Bauer of LaCrosse, WI; step-children, Jackie Bymark of Grand Rapids, MN, Kim Bymark of Bovey, MN, Tim (Jennifer) Bymark of Grand Rapids, MN; brother, Brian (Nancy) Bauer of Arvada, Colorado; sister, Andrea Bauer of Carbondale, Colorado; 6 grandchildren, Danni Herschbach, Ian McGhghy, Amber Bymark, Haley McGhghy, Ryan Bymark, Ava Bymark; 6 great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
